It's Football Season

Last year Colten played flag football and he made it quite clear after that season that he wanted to play tackle the next season...eek!! So here we are. He started practices the same day school started, so needless to say, it's been quite busy around here the last 2 weeks. He's in his 3rd week of 2-hour full practices Monday thru Friday.

He is a Sabertooth!! He plays on the mighty might division of Pop Warner. He has been loving every minute of it so far. They started tackling on their 2nd week and though it was rough for me to watch... :)....he on the otherhand LOVES it!! As the 3rd starts off, he's definately getting into the swing of things. He did SO awesome tonight!! They have a scrimmage game next week and then the season kicks off September 6th.

First Day of School 2008

New school year, new School!! This year the school district opened a new school, so Madison and Colten are now officially Copper Trails Coyotes!! :)


They were both pretty excited for the first day! I think mostly because it's a new school. :) The school is very nice. It's 2-story all inside. The lower grades are downstairs and the upper grades are upstairs. It has a REALLY nice gym as well.









Colten is now in the 3rd grade! Holy cow, it seems like just yesterday I was taking him for his first day of Kindergarten. :(





























Madison is in 5th grade! :~0. Crazy I know.

She was quite excited when she found out her best friend was in her class. Happy times!!

Bryan got to go with me in the morning to drop them off. He had worked through the night and had just got off. The kids were happy that he could come. It was quite chaotic with it being a new school and the first day, but we had anticipated that. They will eventually get all the kinks worked out.

Both Madison and Colten said they had a good first day of school, so we were all pleased about that!!!
