We had a GREAT 4th Of July!! We started out the day with about 4 hours of swimming! We played tons of games in the pool with the kids. It was an absolute blast!
Chloe even did some surfing.....lol! It was SO hot, we tried to keep her in the pool as much as we could.
We ate LOTS of watermelon, which was so refreshing on such a hot day! Yummy!
Then it was off to meet Grammy, Papo, Great Grandma, Jack and Sandy for dinner. We went to a pizza place called Fuzzy's. It was really good!
We weren't sure if there was going to be a fireworks show. A storm started blowing in around 6ish and boy it was WINDY!! The kids were bummed at the thought of not seeing fireworks, but we kept our fingers crossed and sure enough right on time at 9:15 the show began. We sat out front of Grammy and Papo's house and had a great view of the fireworks from the Peoria Sports Complex. 
As you can see, the wind was really blowing! All in all, it was a great show and we had a great time.
The weather had cooled off quite a bit, so we enjoyed just hanging out outside after the show!
